KUTA - UBUD, BALI

24 - 28 April 2013

This time my 'Company Incentive Trip' is to Bali, Indonesia. It is difficult in order to plan & arrange on your own for the company, but it is a good experience tho. This is our story in Bali .... =)

First Day

Our flight from KLIA at 8.50am and had to be at the airport as early as 7 am because the ticket booked in group.

My clique were busy filling up the visa card form, even it can be fill on the plane as long as before the plan landed hahaha..never mind, well prepared is good...

Arrived at the Denpasar Airport, Bali at noon & we were attend by a tour guide from Bali Ceria Tours, Pak Gedek.

This is the parking pay station on the way out from the airport, still old school compare to Malaysia.

The design of this building remind me of my trip to Japan in 2007...there is thing to impress here actually...

Construction area which not cover at all & I believe it suppose to be cover by public view.

First destination is we went to Nusa Dua Beach Hotel for luncheon which only about 15 minutes away from the airport.

This is part of our group. Look, everyone was given a garland upon our arrival..hahaha..

Menu of the day, completely lots of choice in this resort...very elegant...

Let's enjoy our lunch for today here ...quite hot today & more hotter compare to Malaysia...huhu....

Ok..This is our Lunch Menu...nyum nyum....

Spicy crackers..

This is some sort of soup, taste weird but nice...

Our main course...rice with Tutu chicken...got a little portion of vegetables. Again, taste weird but still nice...the only thing is, no other soup (for Malaysian usually want some soup to eat together with the main course).

Dessert...assorted traditional cakes.

Appreciation session, a gift from us to the hotel...

Nice decorate....original fruits ok...don't try this at home...

Beach at this resort...

Room in the resort...very romantic..hehehe...

Very unique...here provided with different types of tea & it's original ingredients, should try this...

Next is  Uluwatu Temple

Before entering we were given a piece of cloth like a scarf for everyone and told to tie at our waist, respectively. Perhaps this is to show that we are visitors. When noted, each visitor who wear shorts or short skirts, they have to put on as sarong. Maybe this is a sign of respect when they are in the temple area to always dress decently.

Here are also advised to be careful because there are many monkeys who really likes to take things from visitor. We were advised not to wear hat or sunglass to avoid any attraction from the monkeys..so becareful when you are here.

Then, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana, where there is a great eagle head desperately, they said. National airline Garuda Indonesia is named after of this bird. Actually, there was no bird called Garuda in the real world, but these birds exist in nature belief of Buddhist people that this Garuda bird is used as the main transportation by their god. (If I am not mistaken hear it hehehe...)

Different statue at the entry according to the Buddist believe...

Let's check inside...

What is everybody looking at actually???

Ok, this the Garuda bird that I mention before. Its only the head on the hill...

My team with the CEO in the center (green shirt) hahaha..

Behind the bird head, there is a big statue of Buddist believe & this is their God as per what I heard.

In front of the statue, there is a very nice view to enjoy as you are already at the top of the hill. There are people saying that its look a like Great Wall of China..hehehe...is it??

It's dinner time...we ate seafood at the Gekko Fresh Grilled Seafood, Jimbaran Beach.

While eating, a preformance of Baliness traditional dance...

Honeymoon table prepare for any couple...facing the open sea with very nice wind that time...

Check in at the Hard Rock Hotel, Bali....

Ok, first impression was good because it's a Hard Rock Hotel. However, we all having difficulties finding our room. Usually, the room sorted by numbering or alphabetical order so that we can understand which level, which room etc.

But, the room number I shown below is where the first number stand for which wing your room is, follow by level then your room number. Furthermore, the receptionist does not explain this to us & we also don't have any staff that can help us with it. Then, all of us takes about 15 minutes to find our own room.
